Victorian Clothing

2/6/22

Well, maybe today I will be able to actually publish the changes to my website. The upgrade to Sparkle V4 destroyed my previous publish settings. Usually the makers are very responsive, but they says it’s a known bug but neither they nor Apple have found a way to fix it yet. So I’ve spent the last couple of weeks writing, without being able to publish. I checked the FTP server setting again today and they are all correct, There have been two updates to Sparkle since the 4.0 version, so I’m crossing my fingers that this time things will work correctly. Maybe an OS upgrade will fix it? Otherwise, I’ll have to spent about 18 hours loading the complete site to my web host using an 3rd party FTP uploader. I’m not looking forward yo either option.

The PFCC starter image a couple of weeks ago was swirly, plastic looking texture from Pixabay, reminiscent of kitchen chairs back in the day. The woman in Victorian costume is from AdobeStock, the floor from Bittbox; I’ve designed the wall using a pattern I made earlier for another project. I’ve applied the starter pattern  to everything but the skin using various blend modes, opacities and color overlays. This is the second version, the first had a light colored blouse. I think this one is less jarring.

Take care and stay well. I hoping for the ambient outdoor temperature to be somewhat higher, soon.
